Alina Godfrey is returning to New Zealand after five years overseas to take up the role of group business director, Saatchi & Saatchi has announced.
Godfrey has spent five years in Australia working in leadership roles at KWP! and DDB Sydney. In her new senior leadership position, Godfrey will be leading prominent clients for the agency, strengthening the account service team in the Auckland office.
She previously worked at Saatchi & Saatchi in the early years of her career and is looking forward to re-joining the team.
“Like anyone who believes in creativity, I want to be part of bringing something extraordinary to fruition for clients – and that’s exactly what’s happening at Saatchi,” she says.
“I’m looking forward to working with some brave clients and some like-minded colleagues.”
Saatchi & Saatchi managing director Paul Wilson says the team is thrilled to have Godfrey on board.

Godfrey will be responsible for the Chorus, Heineken NZ and My Food Bag accounts.
