Movings/Shakings: 24 July

A new addition

Adshel NZ has announced a new appointment in the sales team as Charlotte White steps into the role of account manager. She replaces Robbie Coshan who left the company on 20 July to embark on his O.E.

White joins Adshel from Y&R where she was media manager, working across some of the agencies largest full-service clients. Prior to this, she worked for OMD in the UK as a planning manager.

Mark Banbrook, Adshel’s Auckland group sales manager, says White’s experience is the perfect fit for Adshel.

“Charlotte brings a wealth of media knowledge from her time working in agencies in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. She brings the perspective of knowing the process and pressures of our clients and how to make their jobs easier.”

Taking the lead

Rebecca Stevenson has been appointed the new Stuff national business editor, assuming the role in early July.

Stevenson has been with Stuff for more than nine years in various roles, returning to the business from a year-long stint as business editor at The Spinoff. She was previously a reporter for the Stuff national business bureau and a news director of Auckland suburban newspapers, the Western Leader and Nor-West News.

George Collett, editor-in-chief of editorial verticals, says it’s great to have Stevenson onboard.

“She’s innovative and inspiring in her approach and we’re looking forward to seeing her lead Stuff’s business coverage.”

A delicious new role

Fast food giant Domino’s has appointed a new chief marketing officer to take over the Australian and New Zealand markets. Melody Livingston comes to the ASX-listed company from a head of marketing role at Australian fresh meal delivery service, Youfoodz.

Based in Australia, Livingston will report to group CMO Allan Collins, who is responsible for marketing across seven markets: Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Japan and Germany. She takes over the role from Todd Reilly who has moved within the company to head marketing in Japan.

Prior to her time at Youfoodz, Livingston was the marketing manager at Retail First, developing and driving brand and marketing strategies for Brisbane-based shopping centres.
