Taking the lead

Ipsos New Zealand has appointed Amrutha Murthy as a director leading customer experience.

The role will see Murthy responsible for leading customer experience strategy at a senior level Ipsos’ major clients.

Murthy has 15 years’ experience delivering customer experience programmes from business case to implementation. Most recently, she led CX Design and New Zealand Post following roles at IAG, New Zealand’s Inland Revenue, Kiwibank and IBM.

Musical chairs


Penny Wolhuter, Janice Chan, Roshani Mehta, Mel Moss

Chemistry has promoted Mel Moss and Penny Wolhuter to the role of business director, each with the responsibility of joining the leadership team and managing the client portfolio.

The move sees both move up from their positions as senior account directors.

Alongside the promotions, the agency has boosted its client service with two new account executives, Roshani Mehta and Janice Chan.

A duo on the rise


Freddie Coltart, Matt Williams

FCB’s Matt Williams and Freddie Coltart have been appointed creative group head roles.

The pair will now have responsibility for a number of projects including VTNZ, Fire and Emergency New Zealand.

They take into their new roles experience from campaigns including Vodafone’s Piggy Sue, Mitre 10’s King and VTNZs Road Commander. As well as a number of golds from major international awards shows to their name, Williams and Coltart have also picked up 15 Cannes Lions and 10 D&AD pencils, one of those being a Yellow for It’s not OK’s ‘Paradise Hill’.

They have also been ranked third and fourth on BestAds world creative ranking over the last 10 years. 

The team will join Rob Banks, David Reid, Leisa Wall and Peter Vegas in the FCB Creative Leadership Group, reporting into Clewett who will continue his ‘the-creative-buck-stops- here’ role. 

New kid on the block


Paul Sigaloff

Oath ANZ has this week launched in the market, led by managing director Paul Sigaloff.

Oath ANZ is a subsidiary of Verizon an umbrella brand for all of AOL and Yahoo’s media and technology properties.

The Oath portfolio in ANZ includes Yahoo News, HuffPost, AOL, Yahoo Finance, TechCrunch, Yahoo Sports, Engadget, Makers, Flurry, Oath Ad Platforms, RYOT, Yahoo Lifestyle and the Build Series.

Oath ANZ also offers Oath Ad Platforms, combining the assets from BrightRoll, One by AOL and Yahoo Gemini.

Thrive

Thrive PR + Communications has appointed Hazal Alkac to take the helm of its digital and content studio across New Zealand and Australia.

Alkac is a senior content, brand and social media strategist with experience in the marketing industry.
