Jim Moser stepping down as CEO of Clemenger Group New Zealand

Jim Moser, CEO of Clemenger Group New Zealand is stepping down from his role after 10 years at the helm. He will be taking on a new Group role while Jim Gall takes over the CEO position.

About the news, Robert Morgan, executive chairman of the Clemenger Group, says Moser has done a fantastic job leading the Group’s New Zealand operations. New Zealand accounts for about 30 percent of the Group’s profits and an even greater share of its creative reputation, he adds.

“New Zealand punches well above its weight on both counts. In his time in New Zealand, Jim Moser has made many friends and business contacts and has been a great coach and leader across our businesses.”

Moser will now take on the role of CEO of Clemenger Marketing Services including all the Australian Clemenger Group companies other than CHE Proximity and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne/Sydney.  He will still have some client involvement with Clemenger BBDO clients.

Replacement Gall, is the founder and CEO of Redhanded Communications that Clemenger purchased four years ago. More recently, Gall’s been chairman and CEO of Marketforce/OMD Western Australia.

Gall will start on 1 November and move his family to Auckland in January 2019.

Taking over from Gall at Redhanded will be current managing director Lachlan Drummond.
