View from the top: Getty compiles the best aerial footage of 2013

When Icarus first flapped his crudely fashioned wings and flew a little too close to the sun, humans became enamoured with the idea of flight. And, given the stunning aerial footage compiled by Getty Images in 2013, it seems that our love affair with the sky has not dwindled as the millennia have passed.
