Do you think outside the box? 2019 TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards Finalists Announced

Back in April, NZ Marketing magazine/StopPress and the Marketing Association called for the country’s master marketers to submit their entries to the 2019 TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards. We can now reveal the entries that showed true out-of-the-box thinking to deliver impressive commercial results as we announce the 2019 finalists.

“It’s always great to see the impressive thinking within local marketing departments and while there are plenty of big names that regularly feature on the list, this year new companies are in the running to be rewarded for their efforts to break the mould,” said Erin McKenzie, editor of NZ Marketing magazine/StopPress.

Leading the way again this year with nine finalist nominations are J H Whittaker & Sons, followed by Trade Me with eight nominations (including two for Trade Me Jobs) and DB Breweries with seven. Engineering New Zealand, Mercury, and Lion have five finalist nominations each

The full list of finalists can be found below or here.

Marketing Association chief executive Tony Mitchell extends his gratitude to all the award judges for sharing both their time and expertise, and also acknowledges the diligence the judges have shown in selecting the finalists.

“With such great work on show and even more entries this year, the judges have a challenge ahead of them to determine the winners. It’s set to be a great night on 12 September.”

Now in their 28th year, the TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards are a celebration of everything that makes marketing great in New Zealand and beyond. It is the only awards programme that recognise the business benefits of strong marketing strategies.

They are supported by premiere sponsor TVNZ, principal sponsors NZME and oOh!media and category sponsors: BrandWorld, Data Insight, Insight Creative, Mailshop,  Nielsen and The Radio Bureau.

Tickets are now on sale for the usual sell-out awards evening taking place on Thursday 12 September at Cordis Hotel, Auckland.

Bookings can be made online at https://www.marketing.org.nz/marketingawards19.
