New Zealand Post Targeted Communications’ popular direct marketing workshops, which are designed to provide a comprehensive working knowledge of the intricacies of direct mail—from direct mail processes, to data and consumer insights and innovation—as well as a guide to working with New Zealand Post, are back again in 2010.
The workshops are aimed at agencies, marketing departments or anyone planning mail-based communication and places for the first installment this Thursday featuring guest presenter Tony Clewett, direct and interactive creative director at DraftFCB, were booked out in January.
However, registrations are now being taken for the next workshop on Thursday 11 March, featuring Dave King, executive creative director at M&C Saatchi, to be held at the Media Centre in Parnell.
Jackie Shaw, client solutions manager for agencies and integrated media at New Zealand Post Targeted Communications, says places at last year’s workshops were also snapped up within days, so keen marketers need to get in quick for March.
“It’s been fantastic to see the obvious desire for direct marketing knowledge from the wider industry, and so we’re really excited about kicking off the 2010 workshop series and thrilled to have Tony and Dave stepping up as our first guest presenters,” she says.
