Hemisphere expands footprint to Tauranga
Independent agency Hemisphere has expanded into the Bay of Plenty.
The move also doubles as a homecoming for head of digital Craig Adolph, who recently rejoined the company to lead operations from Hemisphere Tauranga, following a 10-year stint at Google.
Adolph says: “I’m stoked to be back in Aotearoa and to call Tauranga home. After 10+ years in Ireland, it’s nice to see the sun again!
“It’s been great meeting marketers and hearing about their hopes and dreams. I can feel that people want different. And they want work that stands out to get better results. The best part is, we’re here to do exactly that – something different for Tauranga. It’s a nice fit.
“Being back at Hemisphere is like I never left. Though some of the faces have changed, it still stands as a company that has strong values and actually lives them – a reason, I’m confident, why Hemisphere have so many longstanding clients and staff,” he adds.
Can’t wait to get stuck in
The move follows a series of business wins and personnel growth for the indie. But expansion doesn’t happen overnight.
Tim Antric, managing director at Hemisphere, says: “It’s been a long-held dream of mine to have Hemisphere operating in Tauranga.
“Since moving to Aotearoa, I’ve spent half of my time in the Bay of Plenty and the other in Wellington. So this next step is a very exciting opportunity to work and deliver inevitable change for the place I call home. We’re fortunate to have a track-record of work with several kaupapa Māori organisations, community groups and commercially focused clients in Tauranga – all of which prove a great base to launch and continue our growth as a company.
“People shouldn’t have to go to Auckland or Wellington for world-class work. This move is about bringing bigger city talent, processes and resource into Tauranga to make work that connects and resonates with the communities our clients serve. And we just can’t wait to get stuck in,” Antric adds.
