And while it kept pretty quiet about the change, it has come out swinging with a new campaign via Y&R that flips the typically negative response to the announcement of record bank profits on its head and aims to show it’s a bank that’s “driven by your prosperity, not our profit”.

Bait and twitch: Ogilvy injects some local charm back into the Holden brand

It’s been a while between brand ads for Holden, with the car company favouring Clarke Gayford, a stark warehouse and a bit of glitchy electronica to spruik its various models recently. But, with the help of Ogilvy and Robber’s Dog, it’s taken a slightly more creative, emotional and story-based approach with a nice new spot featuring a twitchy main protagonist who, like the self-harming, car-loving cat in the Toyota Corolla campaign, finds unexpected peace in his vehicle.

The newly rebranded Sugar & Partners announced the addition of Dave Nash as a creative partner a couple of days ago. And it has just launched a new campaign for the TAB that has continued on from last year’s successful ‘Your Call’ campaign (which included the best example of psychic poultry the world may have ever seen) with a new effort that aims to show the ‘weekend’s for calls’.
