The creative gang have had their fun at AXIS and Cannes, so the focus now shifts to effectiveness awards. And, in addition to the local call for entries for the 2012 Effies going live, Effie Worldwide have announced the results of its second ever effectiveness index, with Colenso BBDO, DraftFCB and DDB ranked in the top 20 most effective agencies in the world.
DraftFCB and the Ministry of Health are a pretty bloody good team, as evidenced by the numerous awards the duo has won in recent years. And, after it was beaten by Colenso’s supreme award-winning catfood campaign for Whiskas last year, they’ve managed to wipe away those salty tears and make amends by taking out a fair swag of the big gongs at this year’s Effies at SkyCity, including most effective agency and most effective client.
The NZ EFFIE Awards finalists have been announced. Coming up trumps this year is DDB with 10 nominees. Colenso BBDO has nine but counting entries by Clemenger BBDO and Colenso & AIM Proximity makes the group total 14. Saatchi fares well with nine offerings in the ring. There are also multiple …
