The Auckland City Mission, which provides specialised health and social services to marginalised Aucklanders, is running a unique campaign through Rapp where it’s “cyber-squatting” on the .nz homepages of dozens of New Zealand organisations in an effort to raise awareness about homelessness in the city and increase donations.

Colenso cleans up at Caples, fights with DDB Group for Campaign Asia Pacific agency of the year honours—UPDATED
Fresh from winning more Caples metal than any other agency in the world over the weekend, Colenso BBDO followed that up by winning Campaign Asia Pacific's New Zealand creative agency of the year award ahead of DDB Group and DraftFCB, with creative chairman Nick Worthington named as the Australasian region's best creative director. DDB Group also backed up a good year on the awards front, with Rapp/Tribal winning digital agency of the year ahead of Colenso BBDO and TBWA\DAN, while Spark PHD was rewarded for an impressive year with the media agency of the year title, ahead of Naked and OMD.
Special Group has managed to get itself a spot alongside BMF and The Monkeys as a finalist for Creative magazine's coveted Hotshop Awards, while Finch and Curious got the Hotshop nod in the production categories. And in the AWARD nominations, DDB Group picked up the most finalists with seven, followed by Colenso BBDO and The Sweet Shop with six each. In the craft categories, Finch received seven finalist nominations, Thick as Thieves three and Curious Film also received a nod for its poignant Helena's story, made for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.

As part of its new campaign to celebrate the return of the Chick’n McCheese, together with the launch of the new spicy Chicken McWings, McDonald’s has teamed up with DDB Group to deliver a campaign that employs the use of puns as well as a virtual wingman to "talk you up".
There's already plenty of fundraising going on to support those affected by the earthquake but hopefully there's room for a little bit more, so the organisers of the Promise to Pip campaign, an initiative launched by industry luminaries in support of cancer stricken RAPP/Tribal senior account manager Pip Mills, are asking those in the biz to get their tickets for the fundraising event being held at La Zeppa on Thursday 10 March.
