Heyho! The TVNZ-NZ Marketing awards are all go. Now in their 19th year, the 2010 TVNZ–NZ Marketing Awards celebrate proven excellence in New Zealand marketing. The awards are run as a joint venture between NZ Marketing magazine and the New Zealand Marketing Association (NZMA). And there’s some exciting news, too.
The awards have four new categories and new sponsors:
AUT University – Transformational Marketing Award
Colmar Brunton – Most Authentic Brand
carboNZero programme – Sustainability
TVNZ – Innovation
NZTE – Export Marketing
Plus we’ve got some new judges, like Professor Roger Marshall from AUT University Business School.
“With four new judges’ choice awards and one new industry category, there are even more opportunities for marketers to share and celebrate their success,” adds NZ Marketing magazine publisher Vincent Heeringa.
“For this year’s awards we wanted to encourage entries that demonstrate an understanding of the science of marketing—the numbers, methods, long- and short-term brand value, and being accountable for business growth,” says Sue McCarty, chief executive of the New Zealand Marketing Association.
The awards evening will be held on 26 August at the Langham Hotel, Auckland.
