While New Zealand may have been one of the first to have dogs driving cars, Subaru has used a similar concept to advertise its new Ascent.
It’s the first day at the School of Obedience for the youngest Barkley, Subaru’s family of dogs (that drive like people). Despite a few scary dogs who make the young Barkley nervous, mum and dad encourage the young pup inside and then get a little bit emotional after watching him leave.
The ad is one of four Subaru TVCs featuring the dogs doing human activities; using the car wash, the teenager having a driving lesson and picking dad up from work.
