Meridian Energy and Shine PR join the KidsCan fancy-dress party

This week, casual Friday is set to be replaced by Game of Thrones and superhero Friday as Meridian Energy and Shine PR support KidsCan National Mufti (or fancy dress) Day.

Meridian Energy is KidsCan’s principal partner and its executive team are dressing as their favourite Game of Thrones characters to show their support for the charity and Kiwi kids living in hardship.

Shine PR is also getting amongst the action by dressing as superheroes to join RDT Pacific, where the team will also be donning superhero constumes. Meanwhile, Johnson & Johnson is going hipster and Crown Law Office is giving its staff free rein. DDB will be taking it back to the 80s with its ‘double denim bogan’ theme.

DDB chief executive Justin Mowday told StopPress: “All the donations go toward Kiwi kids living in poverty, so it’s a brilliant cause and an issue in New Zealand that astounds us, and something we can directly do something about.”

If interested in getting dressed up for a cause, register on the KidsCan website. DDB says it’d be great to see a few more industry people getting involved.
