Last week news broke of McDonald’s Greenlane joining food delivery service UberEats and fans were buzzing with excitement and hope that their local McDonald's will be one of those that's set to follow suit in the coming weeks.
But it’s not just New Zealanders getting McDonald’s to their door as ‘McDelivery’—restaurants partnering with UberEats—is happening around the world and to celebrate, McDonald’s has created Global McDelivery Day on 26 July and a special merchandise collection.
Featuring a sweat suit, slides, a onesie, a pillowcase set and a picnic blanket, the McDelivery Collection will only be available on 26 July to customers who order McDonald’s through UberEats and participating restaurants.
With the products being free of charge with orders, those eager to get their hands on the items are encouraged to reference the restaurant locator to see if there’s a participating location near them and check the UberEats app to see if there are products left to distribute. It’s unclear if McDonald’s Greenlane is one of the participating restaurants.
The merchandise range follows a release of products from KFC earlier this month, including a jumper and a set of Colonel Sanders pillowcases.
