The Imaginary Friend Society tackles childhood cancer

Last month was Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, but with it being a difficult subject for many to broach, RPA and The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, along with an array of production partners, have created 20 animated films that explore different cancer-related topics in a child-friendly manner.

With topics including everything from defining cancer to chemotherapy and blood transfusions, the videos are designed to equip, educate and empower families going through the cancer journey.

The videos can be viewed on a dedicated campaign website, and each one is narrated by a different character that reflects the kind of imaginary friends kids dream up.

To further boost the spirits of those with cancer, the campaign is asking people to create their own imaginary friend and submit a picture for it to then be made into a doll, motivational poster, colouring book or journal.
