Digital outdoor advertising shells are allowing creatives do more than ever in the space, and with a little Disney magic posters can even come to life..

To promote the upcoming Disney Film Through The Looking Glass, Jonny Depp, aka the Mad Hatter, surprised Disneyland goers by interacting with them through a live-streamed movie poster.

When people ask him to wave, he waves, and when he sneezes, bubbles floated out above the crowd. He also compliments a little girl's head and asks if he can fit her with a hat.

With Jonny Depp and the crowd in different places, the execution feels as though it belongs online, but being outdoor it furthers the opportunities for brands looking to engage audiences in a new way.
