Created for Christie's, Droga5 worked with photographer Nadav Kander to place a hidden camera beneath the Salvator Mundi (a painting of Christ as Salvator Mundi, Savior of the World) by Leonardo da Vinci.
In the short film, shot while it was on display in the auction house's New York gallery space, viewers both contemplate and are moved to tears by the artwork.
And if you watch closely enough you may see another famous Leonardo (DiCaprio) and singer/artist Patti Smith among those taking a look.
Advertising agencies are usually conduits for creativity, sitting in the shadows, telling their clients' stories. Every once in a while, they do however use those skills to do a little self-promotion. And that's exactly what FCB did recently to celebrate its massive haul at the Effies.
