Chocolate horror and holiday lust

In the lead up to Halloween, Cadbury has quirky video that positions humans (or at least their disembodied hands) as the villains. The short clip shows a solitary chocolate block walking through a Halloween-themed world, all the while stalked by a great big human hand. And then, as the hand snatches the block, the clip orchestrates a classic horror film twist ending and shows a host of chocolate blocks watching a film at the big screen.

Although the clip was produced across the ditch, the video has been uploaded to the local Facebook page and also served out as sponsored content to those located in New Zealand.

On the topic of Australian-produced ads running in the local market, online travel booking company Wotif has been running its ‘Listen to your holiday self’ spot in the local market. The ad was produced by M&C Saatchi in Sydney and features an overworked mum whose subconcious takes on a variety of different characters, each of which implore her to book her holiday.
