Behind the scenes and on the hoardings

Youtube Video

If you've seen the recent Vodafone ads New, Mobile and Naked Broadband and wondered 'that's cool, but how the hell they'd do that?', you're probably not alone. And while it was a fairly simple goal for Colenso BBDO and Flying Fish director Wade Shotter to try and position the brand as cutting edge, this behind the scenes video shows that it certainly wasn't a simple task creating the ads.

And while we're on the topic of cool stuff, Dick Frizzell has got behind Alex Swney's campaign to run as councillor for the Waitemata/Gulf ward by turning his brush to one of his political hoardings in Ponsonby's Western Park. Interestingly, John Banks was found later that night drawing a Hitler moustache on Swney's face.

Walter Thompson’s former executive creative director Cleve Cameron has done. He left his cushy executive role to focus on releasing an album. We caught up with Cameron to find out where he’s at now with the release, what he plans to do for work and why sometimes you’ve just got to 'Do' it.
