If you've seen the recent Vodafone ads New, Mobile and Naked Broadband and wondered 'that's cool, but how the hell they'd do that?', you're probably not alone. And while it was a fairly simple goal for Colenso BBDO and Flying Fish director Wade Shotter to try and position the brand as cutting edge, this behind the scenes video shows that it certainly wasn't a simple task creating the ads.

And while we're on the topic of cool stuff, Dick Frizzell has got behind Alex Swney's campaign to run as councillor for the Waitemata/Gulf ward by turning his brush to one of his political hoardings in Ponsonby's Western Park. Interestingly, John Banks was found later that night drawing a Hitler moustache on Swney's face.

Are Sky's Olympic restrictions justifiable or is it fighting against the future?

This week, Sky provoked ire in the nation’s news publishers by applying a range of conditions on those wanting to use highlights as part of their reportage. Sky is, of course, within its rights to limit the use of footage, which it paid handsomely for. But in an era of rampant live streaming and social media use, is this an example of sticking their finger in the dyke? And what can we learn from the NFL and the NBA?
