Big data is big business, so it seems only fitting to have a big book explore and explain how the massive amounts of data we create everyday affects the human condition.

Writers Rick Smolan and Jennifer Erwitt, the team behind the best selling 'Day in the Life' series of photo books, authored The Human Face of Big Data as part of a big data research project by the same name, funded by technology giant EMC.

Through photography, infographics, and expert interviews - the book shows how much the flow of information has transformed the lives of everyday people.

It called on Goodfolk and Phosphor to create a new website with its staff front and centre and as Goodfolk general manager Benn Winlove explains, the execution is a result of the client's willingness to listen to its agencies and the agencies' willingness to understand their client.
