TVCs of the Week: 13 November—UPDATED

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jetwWuZHxEWho’s it for: Westpac by DDB and Prodigy

Why we like it: Ahh, the memories. An entertaining follow-up to the ‘Start Asking’ brand launch. And while it also deals with homeownership, it’s about as far as you can get from the blandness of its previous housing TV campaign

Who’s it for: Good Books by String Theory and The Mill

Why we like it: It’s always nice to see creative communications used for good rather than evil. And the Good Books, Great Writers campaign is a brilliant initiative that’s worth supporting.

Why we like it: While not offering quite as many wonderous, delicious products as the cow, the chicken is undoubtedly versatile, as Stickman’s latest ad shows.

Who’s it for: OPSM by Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney and Prodigy

Why we like it: A nice double whammy, showing both OPSM’s new shades as well as its support of the tireless work done by the surf lifesaving community (there’s a longer version of the clip here).

Who’s it for: Big Little City by Smalltown Media

Why we like it: Much like the recent Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra’s ‘Soundtrack to Auckland‘, this five minute visual love letter makes the place look good.
