Real Groove magazine has a new brand manager, musician Paul Lightfoot, once guitarist for The Mockers in the 80s and last seen doing covers of The Church at Auckland’s PR Bar.
Lightfoot’s past ad manager roles have been with Management mag, Metro and at Prime TV. He’s been a fan of Real Groove for years and when he met editor Duncan Greive the sparks flew – in the business sense, of course. Greive is well chuffed to have a new team member that’s not only an experienced media pro, but has a passion for music and can actually play a real instrument.
Lightfoot is already seeing huge marketing possibilities with the recently launched Real Groove website and Greive’s obsession with blogging.
