PHD New Zealand has been appointed as the media agency for the Sealord account.
Louise Bond, chief executive of PHD New Zealand, says winning the Sealord business is a testament to PHD’s strong strategic thinking and its integrated data and technology services.
“We’re looking forward to working with Sealord to roll out innovative and progressive market-leading media campaigns that deliver results and help Sealord achieve success.”
Starcom New Zealand was the incumbent media agency, while Ogilvy remains as the creative agency.
General manager New Zealand at Sealord Stu Yorston says the partnership between PHD and Sealord reflects its focus on how the company leverages media to support its goal of helping to lift the nation’s health through good nutrition.
This goal was first seen in June last year through a campaign called 'Be Like a Fish'. Its hero TVC follows a father and daughter as they learn to swim in an effort to demonstrate the empowerment and self-confidence one can achieve through a healthy lifestyle.
Sealord’s appointment of PHD was effective from 1 January.
