NZDM Awards 2018: Colenso BBDO, Affinity ID, FCB and JustOne lead finalists

The finalists for the 2018 NZDM Awards have been announced and with 18 finalists across 11 unique campaigns, it’s Colenso BBDO leading the way.

Following behind are JustOne, Affinity ID and FCB New Zealand respectively.

This year has seen the introduction of three new categories as well as changes to existing categories and chief judge for the Industry, Channel, Craft, Special and Grand Prix Awards, Trevor Moodie says its particularly pleasing to see the number of new entries from companies that haven’t entered before.

“The range of entries demonstrates the wide acceptance and value of these awards to the marketing community and this year’s finalists are clearly innovative, showcasing the best of results data-driven marketing, strategically driven and creatively inspiring campaigns can be.”

Also making it onto the finalist list are SpeakData and Track New Zealand with four finalist nominations across two campaigns each. Meanwhile, Education New Zealand and Farmers Trading Company are competing this year for distinction in The Keith Norris Direct Marketing Organisation of the Year Award.

All category winners (excluding the Special Awards) will be honoured with gold, silver or bronze recognition. The gold award recipients in the Industry and Channel categories and Nexus categories will be judged by a panel of industry experts who will decide which campaigns had the magic touch and showcased individual brilliance in direct marketing and ultimately become the Grand Prix and Nexus Supreme Award winners.

Tony Mitchell, chief executive of the Marketing Association, wishes to congratulate all of this year’s finalists.

“It is a great achievement to be awarded this accolade and a big ‘thank you’ to all who entered. We look forward to seeing them all on awards night to showcase and celebrate their success with them”

The full list of finalists can be found here.

Winners will be unveiled at the Awards Night on Thursday 28 February 2019 at Cordis, Auckland.
