Nissan and Whybin\TBWA celebrate new Navara model with online game

For the first time in a decade Nissan has released its new Navara model, the NP300, and in celebration it’s teamed up with WhybinTBWA to develop an interactive game called ‘Navara Says’ to show off its new features and one Kiwi will get to take one home if they’re skilled enough.

The game can be played here and appears to be based on a similar premise to the games Memory or Simon Says (as its name hints at).

According to its website players will be shown a sequence of the car’s features. “All you have to do is watch and repeat the sequence. Each sequence will be a little bit harder than the previous one, so you’ll need to pay attention. Repeat each sequence, get a point. Get it wrong and it’s the end of your turn. Get five points and you can go in the draw to win one of the first NP300 Navaras in the country.”

WhybinTBWA creative director Julian Andrews says the game’s beauty lies in its simplicity and execution: “The new Navara is smarter and tougher than the outgoing model. To bring this to the fore, we devised ‘Navara Says’. The idea behind the game was to learn about the all-new car’s features by giving them the opportunity to win one.”

Nissan national marketing manager Leighton Agnew says the company is excited about the launch and looking forward to seeing Kiwis challenge ‘Navara Says’. “This truly is a once-in-a-decade occasion for us. The vehicle is top of the line and this game showcases the new engine, features and interior in such a compelling way, we think it’ll hit home with Kiwis who love their Navaras.”
