Life's good at Y&R

Y&R has won a large proportion of LG Electronics business including strategy, creative, media, digital, social, and sponsorship, effective immediately.  The incumbent was Punch.

Y&R chief executive Jon Ramage said it was a fantastic win for the team.

“LG are serious about winning in every category – mobile, home appliances, and home entertainment, and we’re serious about helping them,” he said.

Y&R's new senior team includes ECD Josh Moore, planning director Janisa Parag, digital director Nigel Hammersley, and creative director Maria Ward. LG will use MEC, Y&R’s independent media arm for all channel strategy, planning and buying.

“We chose Y&R and MEC because we wanted a great integrated partner with complete skills and talent across the board”, said Richard Bryant, national marketing manager, LG Electronics.

“We have a renewed focus on our brand with the new Life’s Good campaign being just the start. Y&R will help us ensure New Zealander’s know the innovative products we offer and how they can enhance their kiwi lifestyle”, he added.
