Why we like it: 'Tis a beautiful piece of film, with New Zealand in a starring role. David Attenborough himself would probably rather stay inside to watch nature than venture into the real world after seeing this ad.

Why we like it: Still very weird, still pretty polarising, but still up our alley. Plus, this spot includes one of our favourite noises, just like The Bourne Identity.

Why we like it: Experts agree that pop-up books rule, as this continuation of the Paper Plus brand campaign for Mother's Day shows.

Auckland’s Shed 10 was taken over by advertising and marketing folk last night, excited to celebrate the country’s most effective marketing campaigns at the 2018 NZ Effie Awards, organised by the Commercial Communications Council in association with TVNZ.
