Explain Olympic favouritism, win another MyFreeview box


Freeview, True and Flying Fish launched the new 'To be fair, it's got to be Free' campaign in June and, more recently, Pio has been explaining the joys of its personal video recording system MyFreeview. After the response to the last competition we ran on StopPress to celebrate the coming of the digital switchover, Freeview has offered us a Panasonic DMR-XW380 MyFreeview HD recorder valued at $800 to give away. So tell us what Olympic event you would record and the most creative answer will get the spoils. 

And if you want to show your mum how to record things or use the electronic programme guide, teach them how to open links and then send themthis video.

JustOne/.99 and Colenso BBDO/Proximity lead the charge among DM finalists

While the word personalisation is now bandied about media lunches with increasing regularity, it's something that those in direct marketing have been focusing on for years—which is part of the reason why this is a space they've excelled at. In this context, the Direct Marketing Awards have become a significant indication of which agencies excel in this area. And this year, JustOne/.99 lead the pack with a total of 21 nominations between them, followed by Colenso BBDO/Proximity on 19, FCB with 11, Young & Shand on eight.
