Cockles warmed and fancies tickled as Creative Challenge registrations fill up fast

Last week we had the pleasure of announcing the launch of the inaugural Creative Challenge, a new event being put on by Adshel, the Auckland Fringe and StopPress that aims to showcase the talents of Kiwi creatives and, at the same time, promote creative excellence in outdoor advertising. We also promised gratuitous publicity for the event, so here it is: registrations have been going very strongly so far, with DraftFCB first out of the gates. And there are also some generous new sponsors on board, with Carlsberg supplying the brown stuff, Stoneleigh providing the red and white stuff and Toto providing the delicious edible stuff.

But time is running out for agency teams up to a maximum of six to get their free registrations in for the event (you can do that here). The cut-off date next Wednesday, so it would pay to get your names in the hat quick smart. And it should be reiterated that as well as the all-important ego points up for grabs, the prize is valued at a whopping great $125,000, with the best agency team nabbing two outdoor campaigns, 130 for the Auckland Fringe in January 2011 and 130 for the winning agency to use for a client or campaign of their choice.

Not only that, the victors will also get an Auckland Fringe/THE EDGE ticket package, a dinner voucher to Toto, some fawning coverage in StopPress and a bit of a write up in NZ Marketing. What’s not to love?
