Bringing to life a magazine: get your tickets to Idealog’s Design Event featuring Peter Haythornthwaite, Sam Ramlu, Carin Wilson and more

Idealog’s Design Series Event is fast approaching, and will feature talks from design deity Peter Haythornthwaite, Method Agency’s managing director Sam Ramlu, craftsman, sculptor and educator Carin Wilson, and RCG’s associate director Andy Florkowski, live painting from up-and-coming artist Jake Feast, as well as the grand reveal of the winner of our Blunt + Generator Umbrella experiment. With just over a week to go, now is a great time to get tickets.

See Idealog‘s Design Issue come to life at our Design Series event next Friday. Listen to deep wisdom from design deity Peter Haythornthwaite, hear our panel of speakers from across three disciplines of design – Sam Ramlu of digital agency Method, Andy Florkowski of RCG architects and craftsman, sculptor and educator Carin Wilson – discuss New Zealand’s identity and the role design plays in it, experience the excitement of the long-awaited Blunt Umbrella Experiment winner announcement, behold live painting from wunderkind Jake Feast, mingle with a cool crowd of sophisticated folks and more at The Design Event on Friday, May 18.

It all kicks off at 5pm over at Generator in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter. Tickets are just $20, so think of it as trading a couple drinks for some awesome times.
