AMI and Colenso TVC looks at the heart of 'humanness'

To err is human or in the case of AMI's latest TVC campaign, to err is 'humanness'.

The insurance company's 'Humanness' campaign via Colenso BBDO shows the many facets of what it means to be human: helping others, being competitive and making the occasional mistake which requires an understanding insurance agent to solve – all backed by tinkley music of course. People helping people, reads the AMI tagline.

The TVC is the first major campaign between the insurer and agency since Colenso won the AMI account away from DDB in October last year, after an 18-year-long working relationship. At the time, a StopPress source said DDB wasn't offered an opportunity to plead its case –it's likely AMI's new owner IAG wanted Colenso on board as it already serviced sub-brands State and NZI.

StopPress has contacted AMI for comment.
