Reputed to be New Zealand’s largest online advertising network, Adhub has just scored a prestigious client, Adhub aims to give the UK broadcasting giant a noteworthy presence among its network of more than 20 New Zealand sites, targeting the most appropriate demographics.

Managing Director of AdHub, Josh Borthwick, knows “marketers love to associate their advertising with quality brands both on and off-line, and the BBC provides our advertisers with wealthy, switched-on New Zealanders in search of a world view for content that ranges from news and entertainment to kids programming.”

It is expected that will add an estimated 500,000 users per month to Adhub’s existing audience of 1.5 million users per month*, and with 73 per cent of that audience believing that paying for quality is worthwhile**, they represent a lucrative audience for advertisers here.

Over 500 advertising and marketing folk descended on the Langham last night for the final and, some might argue, most important event on the awards calendar. The Effie Awards are so highly coveted because the judging process places enormous emphasis on the business results achieved by creative ideas. Winning the big awards is notoriously difficult, and this was again reiterated this year with only seven gold gongs being handed over the course of proceedings. Here's the lowdown on who won what.
