Australasian eCommerce solutions company eStar has appointed Alison Crosbie as chief marketing offer.
A release says Alison has significant marketing, sales and communications experience, gained with large corporates and early stage technology companies in New Zealand and Australia.
Alison held sales and marketing roles with technology brands Spark where she was head of voice and apps, Ericsson as corporate communications manager and Phillips as marketing communications manager, the release says.
“She has also worked in fast moving start-up environments as director of marketing at Auckland’s Healthphone and international marketing manger with miVitals Technology in Sydney, the release says.
Before joining eStar, Alison contracted for seven years in communications and change roles at Genesis Energy, Marac Finance and Downer EDI. Crosbie also co-owns a retail business, The Refinery Clothing Company.

OMD and its specialist business units are leaving the College Hill offices that have been their home for more than a decade to move to a newly renovated space at the city end of Mt Eden as well as appointing two senior staff a release says.
“The move not only enables the growing team to be all together on one floor but gives staff an architecturally designed, creative work environment.”
The release says the new office is built around the company’s core values with environmentally friendly solar panels on the roof, collaborative work spaces and a new timber deck.
Total Media which has shared the College Hill premises for the past five years is also shifting premises, joining Dynamo at 80 Greys Avenue. “This move provides an opportunity for both OMG Group companies to leverage complementary talent with an increased focus on strategy and innovation, while keeping clients at the heart of their business,” the release says.
Drew De Santis’ role as Dynamo GM will expand across both brands. After four years as Total Media GM, Natasha Le Marinel is now moving up to a new group leadership role as group business development director across the wider OMD group agencies and specialist brands, the release says.

OMD will be in the new space at Level 1, Eden 3, 14-18 Normanby Road, Mt Eden from July 27. Total Media also move to 80 Greys Avenue from the July 27.
A new overseer
Zyber Limited has brought David Hutcheson onboard as its marketing manager, responsible for overseeing both company marketing and digital marketing client offerings, a release says.
Hutcheson was previously Zyber’s senior account manager and a release says he spear headed the implementation of Zyber’s digital marketing offerings “From pay per click and social to content marketing and SEO, the release says.
“This formal appointment will have David overseeing Zyber’s digital marketing team and working on expanding Zyber’s client offerings, as well as managing all internal company marketing across different mediums.”
On Tuesday Aamplify announced the appointment of Suzanne Hansen as client partner. She joins Aamplify from Cisco, Australia and New Zealand, where she served as chief marketing officer for the region, leading a team of 27, a release says.
Hansen will focus on business development, go-to market strategies and new business models.

Having a break
Nielsen New Zealand marketing and communications manager Kim McFadden has taken six months’ extended leave in Central America.
While she is away Jackie Helliker, the marketing and communications manager at Nielsen Sydney, will be filling her shoes.
