An incredible opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Creative Team who are specialists in all things CX.
This area is of particular importance for this role as we work closely with our clients to navigate the changing landscape of connecting with their customers.

So, who are we after?
You will understand marketing and creative strategies and in turn can translate these strategies into dramatic innovative executional concepts. You will be expected to present your work to clients in a compelling way, building strong relationships with them along the way. You will be flexible, open minded and strategic in your way of thinking.

As a strong Creative Team, you will have the ability to lead projects, have strategic conversations with clients, sell work and see the big picture.

This role will require you to be responsible for quality creative output, and this will be judged by creative awards, creative rankings and effectiveness.

Working directly into the CD's & ECD's, this team will often be expected to collaborate with discipline specific Creative Heads when projects or briefs require.

You will have the opportunity to work across the various accounts Colenso holds, which means you will be able to work on challenging creative projects, really focus on the craft and team up the most awarded creatives in the industry. Outwardly we are a large established agency, but we always work in close cohesion with each other.

Desired skills and experience

• 3-5 years relevant agency experience
• CX experience in a previous role
• Awards: Not essential but a few would be compelling
• Depth: Experience working on a range of clients and industries
• Poise: Able to show maturity around clients
• Focus: A passion work that is elegant and effective

Why we like it: Hilarious but serious, this ad from WorkSafe elicits both laughter and pensive thought as fictional commentators ‘Pat Silverwood’ and ‘Joe Munro’ give a play-by-play of workers actions. And while not all workplaces feature a pair of commentators armed with mics to make themselves heard, it's hoped the enjoyable campaign that will encourage Kiwis to ‘Use Your Mouth’ and speak up in the workplace.

Who’s it for: Icebreaker by Motion Sickness

Why we like it: Motion Sickness has blended storytelling with an ad in this beautifully shot video for Icebreaker. While the connection with Icebreaker isn't obvious from the start, as Riley Elliott's mulls over what makes him so passionate about sharks, we learn a lesson about facing and embracing fear—and it's one that suits the nature of the outdoor adventure brand.

Who’s it for: G.J. Gardner Homes by 99

Why we like it: Personalising a large company like G.J. Gardner Homes can be tough. But the company has done a nice job of giving local workers a face. Going from Queenstown to the Manawatu, franchisees speak about themselves, how they work and how they are involved with, and support, the local community around them. It's a good way to get to know those who are responsible for bringing to life the homes for G.J. customers.
