How’s your digital fitness? Are you struggling with sit-ups when you could be burning fat and reinventing yourself on a super-duper cross trainer? Digital marketing is here to stay and it’s about time you learnt all the tools to create a brand presence on the web that lasts.

Digital Now New Zealand (DNNZ://09) is a free seminar to help marketers develop an understanding of the digital landscape in 2009. Google will show you their Consumer Engagement Framework, two creative dudes fromY&R will debate being good vs being cool and G2 tells you how to incorporate digital media in your marketing mix. Hill & Knowlton and JML Communications discuss brand reputation and research into online consumer behaviour is tackled by TNS and Research International. The seminar takes place at the Sky City Convention Centre, Auckland, Tuesday 22 September, from 7.55 – 11.45am. Register on the DNNZ website. It’s free but seat are limited.

Duke marks one year with live branded sport event

When TVNZ launched Duke last year, it was championed as a way of reaching hard to get audiences and acting as an experiment lab for new forms of content. And its first birthday celebration is set to champion those strengths with a live primetime TV sports event that will see two friends battle it out for Fresh-Up.
