ACP mixes fishy business with fishy pleasure

If you fancy yourself as a bit of an angler, harness both your enthusiasm and a team of no more than eight people and put Friday, 5 March aside for a day on the water as part of The Great ACP Media Fishing Competition, which is hosted by ACP Media’s men’s magazines.
“This inaugural Fishing Competition is a great way for ACP Media to engage with our agency clients and have a bit of fun at the same time,” said Terry Williams King, national sales manager for ACP's Trader Group. “We hope this will be the first of many initiatives hosted by Trader Group and ACP Magazines.”
The day begins with a briefing at 7.30am at Orams Boat Park and monsters of the deep will be reeled in from 8.30am to 4.30pm, with the all-important weigh-in at Orams between 3pm and 6pm.

The prizes will be dished out at Orams and there will also be a meal (ensure you're there at the prize giving because absent winner's prizes will be released as lucky angler draws on the night).
The entry fee is $10 per person and entries are limited, so contact Sherri Holt ( to get involved.

Axis 2018: Colenso BBDO set for back-to-back success, DDB Group and Ogilvy & Mather follow

The Commercial Communications Council has released the finalists for the upcoming Axis Awards and it’s set to be Colenso BBDO’s night for the second year running as it makes the list 80 times. The agency is followed by DDB Group’s 53 mentions, Ogilvy & Mather’s 41, Clemenger BBDO Wellington’s 37 and FCB’s 33. We check out some of the work set to score on the night.
