Bullseye Digital rebrands, eyes New Zealand growth

Australian digital agency Bullseye Digital has given itself a new coat of paint with a retro–vintage makeover to make the staunchest hipster proud. With the new look comes a new attitude, which includes aspirations for growing the company in New Zealand.

Bullseye Auckland launched in February last year, since then winning Auckland Airport and Barfoot & Thompson as clients. The company’s biggest client in New Zealand is Loreal NZ, the agency has most recently created an online marketing campaign (www.howfar.co.nz) for the international cosmetics giant.

The two-strong team in Bullseye Auckland are sales staff, with the creative work done out of Sydney and Melbourne (or freelanced out), and development teams working from Indonesia.

New Zealand business director Claire Stewart (one of the two working from Bullseye’s Britomart office) says the company intends to expand its operations in the country, specially by bringing on board senior technology expertise.

“We definitely want to grow here … how we see the model working is having a senior technical person in the markets we’re operating in,” says Stewart.

Stewart says Bullseye is looking for a Kiwi technical lead to come on board sometime in the next six months. Following that project managers will be the next skill the fledgling digital agency needs to bring on board.

Bullseye was founded in 2000 in Sydney, before expanding to Melbourne, Auckland, and Indonesia. It has 110 staff and last year joined the STW Group of marcomm companies.
