On Earth as it is in heaven

During the Cricket World Cup, Hyundai promoted its new Genesis sedan by putting cars on plinths—and in the path of some sixes—inside the grounds and trying to get people to answer a few questions about the car’s various features in its animated TV ads. But they do things bigger in the US, so it used a few of them to send a message from a girl called Stephanie to her astronaut father

The Korean automaker used 11 Genesis sedans and had stunt drivers write a message—’Steph Loves you’—on the Delamar Dry Lake in Nevada with the help of GPS tracking. And at 5.55㎢, “1.6 times the size of Central Park, New York”, it earned a Guinness World Record for largest tire track image. And if you’re really keen, you can create your own virtual message in the sand and share it on social media.
