Who’s the smartest of them all? Clever clogs Kiwi businesses vie for marcomms-related categories at NZ Innovators Awards

The country’s most innovative companies are due to be celebrated next month at the New Zealand Innovators Awards. And a number of businesses from the marketing, media and digital realms will be gunning for a prize.  

In the innovation in marketing and communications category, which is sponsored by Datamine, the finalists included branded helmets, global endorsement, controversial rum and social photo marketing.

And in the innovation in media, music and entertainment category, sponsored by Radio Live, the finalists were: 

“We are seeing more and more businesses in New Zealand with a global outlook, that are seeking global opportunities, collaborating with global partners and commercialising technologies across multiple industries and sectors,” says New Zealand Innovation Council chief executive Louise Webster.

There was a 60 percent rise in the number of entries this year. ​Check out all the finalists here

The awards are an initiative of the New Zealand Innovation Council and are strongly supported by foundation sponsors Bayer New Zealand, Idealog and Ideas Accelerator Ltd.
